The previous essay was written a few years ago. It has never been published. I no longer believe in all of what I wrote. But I do believe: Christianity does involve suffering. We must be prepared to suffer for Christ. 1. Peter is a letter in the Bible dealing with this. It's a beautiful and prophetic letter that speaks to us today, perhaps more than ever is this wonderful piece of literature important to study.
Those who really love Christ will be given the hidden manna. But they are also willing to suffer for him.

That`s right, but we are not suppose to seek suffering or crate what I will call self-inflicted sufferings. As long as we don`t hide from it or reject it when it comes, we are doing the will of God. A.M.
